Buff it out

Hello and happy Monday, i hope that you all have had a wonderful christmas and is you dot celebrate christmas, than i hope that you have had a pleasant and productive weekend filed with sleep !

Back to the main reason for this post, i am here today to talk to you about a new pallet that i recently bought and have fallen in love with. I first have to say that i have always admired the Urban Decay Naked eye shadow pallets but they were always just a bit too expensive for when i wanted to buy them, and when i did have the money, i would spend it on something else... bad i know. But recently there have been many pallets out in most beauty stores that are either dupes or copies of the product, and for me i love this because it means that i don't have to spend a lot of money on one product, but can still have close to or similar eyeshadow colours that with a little bit of magic can achieve an amazing and eye catching eye look.

I had popped into my local beauty store and i found this W7 In the Buff  pallet and really fell in love with it. Of course it is one of the more affordable eyeshadow pallets and i loved this because it meant that i could buy it there and then, and so i did. Once i got home i started paying around with it and found that even though it was under £10, the pigmentation of each shade was really good and they showed up  my skin tone really well, in person and on camera. 

There would be times where i would have to rub a little bit harder at the glittery shades just to make sure that it got onto the brush, and if i had to do that then i would also wet my brush, just to ensure that it would stick to my eyelid. 

 Al the shades i found to be very wearable, wether that it for a day to say look for school, or for when i ant to go a little bit out there and is for a night time look, i feel that this pallet suits for al occasions, and i love this because it is a very neutral pallet with shades of silver and gold, adding that little bit of glam to the mix.

Normally before applying an eyeshadow i would use my Maybelline Baby Face Instant Pore Eraser on my face and then, i would apply a little bit extra just on my eye lids to ensure that my eyeshadow stuck to them and didn't move throughout the day, and that the colours didn't fade. I found that for me this is the best way of applying my eyeshadow and that this primer is also very inexpensive and works very well for normal/dry skin type. i would then use the eyeshadow brush that came with the pallet and any other small fluffy brush that i manage to find that day.
