I hope you all have had a good Christmas and that you were able to enjoy spending time with your family. I just wanted to do a little post on some makeup products that i have ben using lately that has been giving me that natural summer glow in the midst of winter. One of this years trends have been to go for the natural looking dewy skin, that appears moisturised and soft, whist tying not to look oily. Well i have attempted to do this look many time and believe me it hasn't turned out all too well, but i have gotten it down to two products that when put together give the that 'glow' which i have been searching for.
Even though i would usually use a highlighter within my makeup routine i would also combine the No7 Illuminator with my Simple kind to skin moisturiser just as a base layer, later on going in with my Rimmel Natural Bronzer to warm my face up, so it looks like my face has seen the sunlight through the miserable clouds, and using the illuminator on my cheek bones so it catches the light a bit more. Majority of the time, this i what i would use, with the added eyeliner, mascara and of course brows, but if i wanted to look a little more put together i would go in with some contour around the face, some blush and possible some eyeshadow or bold lip, all depending on how i feeling that day.
